Made in America

All of ContractorKitchens.com’s cabinetry selections are Made in America and built-to-order. We don’t manufacture or carry any “knock down” cabinetry. All of our cabinetry is factory assembled, individually inspected, and fully boxed to insure it arrives at your job site intact and ready to install. Unlike some of our less scrupulous competitors who import RTA cabinetry or foreign manufactured doors, face frames, cabinet sides, parts, etc. and ONLY assemble those parts here in the U.S. Our cabinetry is Made in America. You can always tell because unlike truly American manufactured cabinetry, they will never use the “Made in America” phrase or logo. We are proud that our cabinets and products help employ hundreds of American factory workers.

Solid Construction

Our Select series cabinetry is constructed from solid oak, maple or cherry hardwoods and 1/2” thick solid plywood ends with matching real wood veneer finished ends on both sides. With engineered wood tops, bottoms, and shelves. All construction with no engineered wood is available. Our plywood is also CARB2 compliant for restricted formaldehyde emissions. The cabinetry drawer fronts and frames are constructed from 3/4″ solid oak, maple, or cherry hardwood. 90% of our Raised and Flat panel doors feature solid wood center panels, except in our entry level group which is veneered Raised and Flat center panels.

The cabinetry features 4-sided drawer boxes with dovetail carpentry joints constructed from 5/8″ thick natural finish solid hardwood with fully captured plywood bottoms and CushionClose® Full Access Hidden Glides. This integrated slow-close mechanism helps reduce slams and noise and utilizes unique air damper technology for whisper-quiet luxury. The 21” extension provides full access to drawer contents. All drawers meet KCMA load standards of 15 pounds per square foot. There is no need for shelf paper or shelf liner material. The cabinets are sanitary, wipe-clean natural wood grain laminate finished interior.
